2008 Teacher of the Year Mary Matthews, Fifth Grade Teacher at Kegotank Elementary School, was named the Teacher of the Year for 2008 for Accomack County Public Schools. News From the Superintendent The school division has worked collaboratively with NASA and the University of Maryland Eastern Shore to receive a state-of-the-art aeronautical laboratory for one of our middle schools. This is the first middle school in the nation to have such equipment. We have also added a robotics unit to our middle school curriculum. (read more news...) Six-Year Plan Accomack County Schools conducts long-range planning to assure continued growth and success. The Six-Year Plan is now available online.
